Other than the excellent discussions that occur during the social portion of each club meeting, we also maintain a Google Group for virtual discussions here. If you want to subscribe to the email version of this list, the easiest thing to do is send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Keep current on updates, events, and the club in general through our Facebook page right here. We recently created a MUGZ Google+ community as well. This provides members with an alternative to Facebook and also allows for video chat events through their Hangouts feature. You can visit it here.
If you want to see how a club member brews or if you just don’t like brewing alone, check out the Brew Day Signup Sheet. Members can list when and what they are brewing and invite others to join them, coordinating through supplied contact information. Conversely, they can see who is brewing and contact them to join in on brew day to watch or help. You can view the signup sheet here.
If you are in need of a piece of brewing equipment but don’t want to or can’t purchase it for yourself, you may be able to borrow it from a fellow member on the Equipment Sharing Sheet. Likewise, if you have a piece of equipment you’re generous enough to loan out, you can post it. You can view the equipment sharing sheet here.
Borrowing/Lending Books and Magazines
A few of us have accrued quite the library of brewing books and magazines over the duration of our hobby/career. If you want to offer them out on loan to fellow members, list them on the Book Sharing Sheet. If there’s a book you’d like to read or reference, but don’t own it, you can look for it and contact the owner to arrange borrowing the book. You can view the book sharing sheet here.
