Do I need to re-pitch my Russian Imperial Stout?  (United States)

For my 4th batch I decided to do a RIS.  My question is when/if I need to re-pitch the yeast or just give it more time.  I brewed this on 12/26 and used White Labs 07.  I was getting some massive fermentation by day 2.  Good thing I was told to use a blow-off tube!  With the cold temps lately I've been using a warming belt, but can only get the temp up to 60-62.  White Labs says the optimal temp should be 65-70.  The OG was 1.090 and when I checked it last night it was 1.030, so it making some progess.

Should I move the carboby to a warmer part of the house, re-pitch or just it leave it be for a few more weeks?

I wouldn't repitch at this point.  I would rack the beer into a secondary fermenter and forget about it for a few months.  A RIS needs more time than a lower gravity beer.  If your fermenter is sitting on the floor, try raising it up.  I put mine on a small pallet and that helps keep it at a warmer temp.   Pitching another dose of yeast 3-4 days before bottling will ensure the beer is fully fermented and will greatly improve carbonation.

Thanks Splash.  I racked to a secondary, got it off the basement floor and wraped it a towel.  Given my work schedule it probably will be forgotten about unitl March or April.  How long can it sit in the secondary?  I assume I still need to wait until it gets to around 1.010 before I bottle it.

You can let it sit for several months if you want. It may or may not get down to 1.010.   Either way, I'd add another dose of yeast  a few days before bottling.
