I wasn't sure which region MUGZ fit in, so I asked Janis Gross-below is the info. short answer-IL members are Great Lakes Region, IA members are Midwest Region.

Our homebrew club is based in 2 states-which region would we be? We (MUGZ) are based in the Iowa/Illinios Quad-Cities area. We have roughly an equal amount of members from each state. We did have a P.O. Box for snail mail based in Moline, IL, but will be closing that on March 29th, and we are now in the process of incorporating using a Davenport, IA address. We have our meetings in both Davenport & Moline. Would members enter the regional comps based on their personal address? Thanks for any info.

Each brewer should enter the region based on their personal mailing address. There is no problem with having people in multiple regions in the same club. Just make sure everyone selects the club name from the drop-down list when they register their entries; that way any points earned for the Homebrew Club of the Year award and the Gambrinus Club Award will count for your club. Tell everyone to choose the club name from the list, and not to choose "Other" and write in the club's name. If they choose "Other," their points will not count for your club. Your club is currently listed in IL.
