Karen, Jim Smith and myself went to Mundelein, IL yesterday to judge/steward at the first American Cup Homebrew Comp. Only American style beers were allowed to enter. 87 entries, well run comp, nice lunch, good schwag for judges..........all in all ,a good day. Results have not been posted as of this morning.
We stopped at Emmet's in Dundee on the way home..... great beer.....cool place....put it on your list of places to go!!!
GOOD LUCK to all who are taking the BJCP exam next Saturday and a big thanks to Jim for coordinating the test. At this time I'm considering skipping the test and going straight to Budde's for the post exam party. Less stress =
